St. Cassian's offers four open retreats for people who would like to come on retreat either by themselves, in groups, or with their families.

Many young people have grown in faith and love and have found new inspiration in their lives through their retreat experiences. As a result, adults and families have been affected too and have requested to share in a similar retreat experience. To meet these requirements we offer four retreats anually which we call Family Weekends.

The retreat commences on Friday evening:

• a buffet supper is available from 6.00 pm
• a short introductory meeting is scheduled a soon as possible after 8.00 pm, followed by Night Prayer and social time.

The retreat ends with lunch on Sunday.

The cost for the Weekend

£75.00 per wage-earning adult and,
£50.00 per child/student/unwaged person.
Children under school age are free.

The maximum cost for a family would be £250.00, based on 2 x £75.00 and 2 x £50.00...any in addition to this are free.

In 2008/2009 four Family Weekend retreats will be held on the following dates:

• October 24-26 and October 31-November 2 (probably the beginning and end of the school mid-term break)
• May 22-24 and May 29-31 (probably the beginning and end of the school mid-term break)
