St. Cassian's offers two open retreats for people who would like to come on retreat either by themselves or in groups.
The Lent and Advent retreats, for adults only, offer a relaxed opportunity for:
- prayer
- reflection
- sharing
- liturgy
The programme is similar to that which is offered to young people and is greatly appreciated by all who take part.
The retreat commences on Friday evening:
- a buffet supper is available from 6.00 pm
- a short introductory meeting is scheduled a soon as possible after 8.00 pm, followed by Night Prayer and social time.
The retreat ends with lunch on Sunday.
The Cost for the Weekend:
£82.00 per wage-earning adult and £55.00 per student/unwaged person.
In 2010/2011 the Advent Retreat will be held on December 3-5 and the Lent Retreat on March 18-20.
